A downloadable prototype for Windows, macOS, and Linux

Okay but what is this?

The Magnet Gun is a movement first person shooter with puzzle elements, inspired by Portal and Half Life, both in aesthetics and movement, its also largely inspired by Team Fortress 2 (Namely the Airblast from Pyro's flamethrower, and the ability to projectile jump present in most classes).

FEATURES

  • M1PULL: An ascended glitch, accelerates objects towards you. Keep the glowy end pointed away from yourself at all times.
  • M2PULL: Concentrated* handwavium** blast that pushes projectiles away from you. *Handwavium takes up to two seconds to build up. **Handwavium and gun sold separately.
  • Crouch: Makes you smaller. Becomes a dash if you are going fast enough, this can be used midair.
  • Surf: Jump into any ol' ramp and strafe towards it to gain a lot of momentum.
  • Rocket Jumping: Never before have projectiles aimed at you been so useful!
  • BHopping: Of course *ding*
  • TurretAnnoying pillar that throws bombs at you.
  • You are also potentially able to jump on projectiles!
Actual demo coming soon

Note: This is my first serious unity project, expect a lot of bugs and make sure to report them when you spot them (its why im putting the demo out here before the actual release)
